About Alan D. Eisler

Alan is Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification. He has also served on the Local Rules Committees for Maryland and District of Columbia bankruptcy courts, the latter of which he co-chaired. Alan has also served on the Bench-Bar Committee for the District of Columbia bankruptcy court.

Since 2009 Alan has been recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as a Top Bankruptcy Lawyer, including in its Top Lawyers Hall of Fame. Bethesda Magazine also rates Alan as a Best of Bethesda bankruptcy attorney. Alan has also been named a Maryland and District of Columbia Super Lawyer since 2007 and received Martindale-Hubble's highest A-V rating.

Alan is a past-president and board member of the Maryland Bankruptcy Bar Association and Congressman Walter Chandler American Inn of Court. He also served two terms on the Board of Governors for the Maryland State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Maryland Bar Foundation.

When not working, Alan enjoys running, cycling, audio books, and meditating.
